Celebrate MLK Day with Story Jam

Story Jams annual MLK Day celebration showcases international storytellers and musicians in honor of the great Dr. King. Spotlighting diverse voices and a fantastic band, Story Jam experiences are always fun, unique, welcoming, and music-filled. This inspiring production will include world class personal narrative storytellers and top Chicago musicians. The best storytelling show in Chicago. Proceeds will benefit organizations who work with immigrant groups and Chicago families. Featured Storytelling Artists: Mama Edie Armstrong, Charlie Garrido, Nestor Gomez, Nataliya Olemchenko, Howard Lieberman, and Kory May. ABOUT STORY JAM: Created by Chicago singer-songwriter Stephanie Rogers in 2014, Story Jam combines true personal stories with pre-written and improvised music. Story Jam aims to elevate humanity with personal stories and custom songs written for the stories. Award-winning storytellers and musicians are featured at every show, and every show is unique and wholly original.
