Erik Knowles

Erik Knowles started his comedy journey in the fourth grade. He later served in the Marine Corps where a superior ordered him to perform at a squadron party. He won that contest by roasting his Commanding Officer. After deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom he began his professional career at the Comedy Store in La Jolla in 2003. Erik has since performed at clubs and military bases across the country. His act blends nostalgic stories of boot camp with the witty realities of fatherhood and adult responsibilities. He delivers refreshing and edgy humor without being filthy. Erik is the 2016 World Series of Comedy winner and the 2016 Veterans Choice Comedy Award winner. He has shared the stage with Sarah Silverman and Zach Galifianakis. His ability to challenge social stigmas makes him a perfect fit for any venue. He remains a standout finalist from the California Comedy Festival. Erik continues to leave every audience in stitches.
