RSVP FOR GUARANTEED ENTRY!Entre los andes septentrionales de Ecuador, est ubicada la provincia de Imbabura, un rincn mgico donde habita la nacin de los Kichwa Otavalos, pueblo milenario, conocido por sus avezados comerciantes y msicos; all nace el Sanjuanito, el ritmo musical ms universal que tiene el Ecuador, en este instante. Este ritmo del gnero andino, es el que alimenta de armonas y melodas a la Cumbia Sonidera en Mxico, y es parte fundamental en el ADN de lo que en Per se ha dado por llamar la Cumbia Sanjuanera. Chicago es hogar de una comunidad kichwa pujante, que tambin cobija a msicos kichwas de distintas agrupaciones y corrientes que por esta ocasin han decidido hacer un solo contingente para presentar lo que han denominado Kichwa Music Ensamble. Un show de dos horas que estar lleno de cumbias, huaynos, y sobre todo de sanjuanitos y fandangos imbabureos como una remenbranza a las celebraciones andinas comunitarias del Pawkar e Inti Raymi.Among the northern Andes of Ecuador, the province of Imbabura is located, a magical corner where the native Kichwa nation lives, an ancient people, known for its merchants and musicians; Sanjuanito is born there, the most universal musical rhythm that Ecuador has at this moment. This rhythm of the Andean genre is what feeds harmonies and melodies to the Cumbia Sonidera in Mexico, and is a fundamental part of the DNA of what in Peru has come to be called Cumbia Sanjuanera. Chicago is home to a thriving Kichwa community, which also hosts Kichwa musicians from different bands who have join to present what they have called Kichwa Music Ensemble.
