Shamarr Allen & ALL3N GenerationShamarr Allen is a New Orleans-born trumpeter, vocalist, composer, producer, and bandleader known for blending jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, blues, and country into a vibrant sound that reflects his hometowns musical diversity. He leads his own band, Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs, and has performed and toured with artists such as Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Galactic, Harry Connick Jr., and Lenny Kravitz, among others, while also playing with local brass traditions like the Rebirth Brass Band early in his career. Allen has released several albums, including True Orleans 2, and his work spans performing, composing, recording, and music education in the New Orleans community. Tonight, Allen is joined by an ensemble of his musician family members.
